There is growing evidence that the veterinary industry is in a mental health crisis. Over the last three decades the risk of suicide in veterinary professionals has been reported to have steadily increased.

 

The most up to date research has found veterinarians are four times more likely to die by suicide than the general population, and two times more likely than any other healthcare profession.

 

Sophie was one of these statistics and her family and friends want to find out how to improve the industry so no-one else has to suffer.
